Job summary

NHS Management, LLC is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead daily resident care, supervise nursing staff, and partner with the Director of Nursing to ensure strong clinical outcomes in a long-term care setting.

This role acts as liaison among residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations and maintaining high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience.
• At least one year of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff on assigned units.
• Support high standards of resident care through quality assurance and infection prevention.
• Receive and communicate physician orders and coordinate across departments.
• Delegate nursing and therapeutic procedures to licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Conduct regular resident rounds to assess condition and ensure quality care.
• Review and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Mentor and develop nursing staff for professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and state and federal regulations.
