Job summary

Excelcare at Lewes is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead the daily clinical operations of a nursing unit in our skilled nursing facility. You will supervise LPNs and CNAs, ensure high-quality care per care plans, and coordinate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.

You will monitor resident conditions, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to admissions, discharges, and transfers while maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Experience in skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
• Commitment to resident-centered care

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations of the assigned nursing unit
• Supervise, support, and mentor LPNs and CNAs on the unit
• Ensure high-quality nursing care per care plans and physician orders
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes with physicians and team
• Complete and review documentation for regulatory compliance
• Participate in care plan meetings and collaborate with other departments
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Address staff concerns and foster a positive team environment
