Shalom Gardens Health & Rehab in Richmond, VA is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead daily nursing operations and mentor a dedicated care team. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and strong leadership across the unit.

The ideal candidate will have an active VA RN license, a nursing degree, and proven leadership in a long‑term care setting, with EMR experience and excellent communication skills.

Formación

• Current, active RN license in Virginia.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff.
• Commitment to providing exceptional, resident‑centered care.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience in skilled nursing/rehab/long‑term care.
• Experience in RN Unit Manager or nursing leadership roles.
• Knowledge of long‑term care regulations, care planning, and EMR experience.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily nursing operations on the assigned unit.
• Ensure high‑quality, compassionate, individualized resident care.
• Assess resident conditions and promptly address changes.
• Review care plans and ensure correct implementation.
• Conduct routine rounds to monitor care, staff and unit operations.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Participate in care plan meetings and family communications.
