Shalom Gardens Health and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced RN Weekend Nursing Supervisor to lead weekend nursing operations at our Richmond, VA skilled nursing facility. This part-time role requires oversight of clinical staff, coordination of resident care, and strong leadership to ensure high-quality services for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia.
• Minimum of one year of nursing supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound clinical decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.
• Ability to effectively supervise nursing staff and coordinate resident care.
• Availability to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Oversee resident care to ensure safe, compassionate, and individualized services.
• Coordinate nursing operations and staffing to ensure smooth weekend shifts.
• Provide clinical leadership, assisting with assessments and changes in resident conditions.
• Respond to emergencies with clinical guidance and appropriate interventions.
• Promote regulatory compliance with applicable regulations and facility policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation including assessments and incident reports.
• Support quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes and safety.
• Lead by example, promoting teamwork, accountability, and resident-centered care.
