Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in Virginia.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of a nursing unit.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Conduct resident assessments and care plan reviews.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Investigate and address resident concerns and clinical issues promptly.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Support infection prevention and safety protocols.
