Avardis Health in Starkville, MS is seeking a Unit Manager (RN or LPN) to lead a dedicated team in a skilled nursing setting. You will mentor nurses and CNAs, oversee care plans, and ensure high-quality resident care.

This full-time role requires RN licensure, at least 3 years of nursing experience with 1 year in a leadership capacity, strong communication, and a passion for patient-centered care and staff development.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (preferred in skilled nursing/long-term care).
• At least 1 year of nursing leadership or administrative experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Patient-centered care and team development passion.

Responsibilities

• Supervise & Support Nursing Staff – Oversee Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants to ensure high-quality, compassionate care.
• Direct Patient Care & Treatment Planning – Conduct medical assessments, implement plans, ensure care standards.
• Coordinate & Manage Staffing Needs – Ensure adequate coverage, assist in hiring, support team development.
• Monitor & Ensure Documentation Compliance – Maintain resident records and regulatory adherence.
• Resolve Resident & Family Concerns – Address grievances and uphold resident rights.
• Assist in Staff Development – Mentor staff and participate in training programs.
• Drive Innovation & Quality Improvement – Implement ideas to enhance outcomes and operations.
