Job summary

Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing at Hopewell is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead a nursing unit and ensure high-quality resident care. You will oversee clinical operations, supervise staff, and coordinate regulatory compliance to support a patient-centered environment.

The role requires NYS RN licensure, an Associate degree (Bachelor's preferred), and 1+ year in long-term care with supervisory experience. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• RN license (NYS) is required
• 1+ year RN experience in long-term care
• Experience supervising nursing staff and unit support staff
• Strong knowledge of resident assessments, care planning, and regulations

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical care and daily operations of an assigned nursing unit
• Supervise nursing staff, nursing assistants, rehab aides, and unit staff
• Conduct resident assessments and ensure care plans are implemented and followed
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes with providers, families, and team
• Review orders, labs, incident reports, and quality indicators
• Participate in care plan meetings, family meetings, QAPI, and rounds
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, transfers, and outside appointments
• Ensure documentation, medication management, and regulatory compliance
