Job summary

FutureCare is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead a nursing team and ensure quality care in accordance with standards and regulations. This role oversees daily operations, care planning, and collaboration with Directors and physicians.

Requirements include an active Maryland RN license, a Bachelor's in Nursing preferred, 1–3 years of managerial experience, and CPR certification. We offer competitive salary, excellent benefits, tuition reimbursement, and a career growth ladder.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• 1–3 years of managerial experience and proven leadership skills are a plus.
• Previous experience caring for residents in acute or long-term care facilities.
• Current CPR license is required.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily operations of assigned unit to ensure quality care and compliance with nursing standards and regulations.
• Oversees day-to-day care and maintains restorative health for residents.
• Develops and implements resident care plans as needed.
• Evaluates and meets the care needs of each resident.
• supervises and coaches nursing staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Collaborates with Director of Nursing and Physicians to plan resident care.
• Identifies issues and works with leadership to resolve them.
• Manages clinical nursing activities and serves as the main contact between residents and families.
• Performs audits, charting, and administrative tasks.
