FutureCare Health is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead the nursing team and drive excellence in resident care. The role requires an active RN license in Maryland, a nursing degree, and prior managerial experience to guide daily operations and ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1–3 years in managerial role with leadership skills.
• Experience caring for residents in acute or long-term care.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily operations of assigned unit to ensure quality service in accordance with nursing standards and FutureCare policies.
• Oversees day-to-day care and maintains restorative health for residents.
• Develops and implements resident care plans as needed.
• Evaluates, prioritizes, and meets the care needs of each resident.
• Supervises and manages performance of nursing staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Collaborates with Director of Nursing and physicians to plan and maintain resident care.
• Identifies procedural problems and resolves issues with the Director of Nursing.
• Supervises all clinical aspects of nursing practice and engages in clinical activities.
• Acts as main contact between residents and families to address concerns.
• Performs audits and completes charting, evaluations, and medical forms.
