FutureCare in Maryland is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead a dedicated nursing team, uphold nursing standards, and ensure high-quality resident care across our communities.

This role involves supervising daily operations, developing care plans, and collaborating with physicians to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations. An active Maryland RN license and CPR certification are required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred with 1–3 years of managerial experience.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred
• 1–3 years of managerial experience
• CPR certification
• Experience caring for residents in acute or long-term care settings

Responsibilities

• Leads daily operations of assigned unit to ensure quality service and compliance with nursing standards and FutureCare policies
• Oversees day-to-day care and maintains restorative health for residents
• Develops and implements resident care plans as needed
• Evaluates, prioritizes, and meets the care needs of each resident
• Supervises and manages performance of nursing staff to ensure high-quality care
• Collaborates with Director of Nursing and physicians to plan and maintain resident care
• Identifies problems and works with leadership to resolve issues
• Engages in all clinical activities and audits charting and forms as needed
• Acts as main contact between residents and families and addresses concerns
• Performs audits and completes administrative tasks
