Job summary

The Laurels of Coldwater in Coldwater, Michigan seeks an RN Unit Manager to lead a nursing unit, ensuring safe, high-quality, resident-centered care in line with federal, state, and local regulations. You will serve as a clinical leader and mentor to nursing staff, coordinate daily operations, oversee staffing, and support residents and families with a collaborative approach.

Qualifications include BSN preferred, RN license in Michigan, and a minimum of 2 years in long-term care or post-acute

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of employment
• 2+ years of clinical experience in long-term care or post-acute setting
• Working knowledge of nursing practice, infection control, and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing care provided by RNs, LPNs, and CNAs/STNAs.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities per policies and laws.
• Interviews, hires, trains staff; plans and directs workflow; prepares assignment sheets.
