The role requires an active NJ RN license, a minimum of 2 years in nursing, and prior leadership experience in long-term care. PCC experience and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active NJ RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Long-term care/skilled nursing experience required.
• Previous unit manager or nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote quality care and professional growth.
• Ensure residents receive care per individualized care plans.
• Perform resident rounds, assessments, and monitor condition changes.
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Lead and participate in care plan meetings.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Support quality assurance initiatives and survey preparedness.
• Promote a positive, resident-focused culture.
