Job summary

Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rochelle Park, NJ is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead the unit’s clinical operations and support nursing staff. This full-time role reports to the leadership team and focuses on delivering resident-centered care in a fast-paced long-term care environment.

The RN Unit Manager will oversee care plans, documentation, and regulatory compliance while fostering a collaborative culture and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Long-term care/skilled nursing experience required.
• Unit Manager or nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote quality care and professional growth.
• Ensure residents receive care in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Perform resident rounds, assessments, and monitor changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care.
• Lead and participate in care plan meetings.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Support quality assurance initiatives and survey preparedness.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and resident-focused culture.
