The RN Unit Manager will supervise staff, collaborate with physicians and families, and ensure compliance with regulations while promoting a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing is required.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a nursing team.
• Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff on the assigned unit.
• Oversee delivery of safe, high-quality resident care.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate follow-up.
• Assist with care planning, assessments, and clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide guidance, education, and support to nursing staff.
• Monitor staffing, scheduling, and unit operations.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state and federal regulations, and nursing standards.
• Address resident and family concerns professionally and promptly.
