Job summary

Journey is hiring a full-time RN Unit Manager in Warrenton, GA. The role oversees daily nursing operations on the unit, supports residents, families, nurses, and CNAs, and collaborates with the Director of Nursing.

Ideal candidate has charge nurse or unit management experience, a GA RN license, and a nursing degree. Competitive pay based on experience includes benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted RN license in Georgia.
Nursing degree from an accredited program.
At least 2 years direct care experience in long-term care/restorative/geriatric setting.
At least 1 year of charge nurse, supervisory, or nursing management experience.
Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and direct nursing services for the assigned unit.
Coordinate resident care and make appropriate nursing assignments.
Direct and support nurses and CNAs.
Oversee resident assessments, care plans, medications, and treatments.
Monitor residents for changes in condition and ensure appropriate follow-up.
Review nursing documentation for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
Participate in admissions, discharges, and resident transfers as needed.
Address resident and family concerns and communicate updates appropriately.
Coach nursing staff and support ongoing professional development.
Ensure appropriate staffing and supplies are maintained on the unit.
Work with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to support quality outcomes.
Help ensure compliance with applicable regulations and facility policies.
