Job summary

Garden Springs Healthcare in Stow, OH seeks an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead a nursing unit and strengthen our patient-centered culture. You will mentor nurses and STNAs, ensure safe, effective care, and collaborate with the Director of Nursing to drive quality outcomes and survey readiness. This is an on-site role with opportunities for professional growth and leadership impact within a resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license in good standing.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings.
• Prior leadership experience as RN unit manager or charge nurse preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise nursing care delivery on the unit.
• Provide mentoring and coaching to RNs and STNAs.
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to providers and families.
• Lead care conferences and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
• Support survey readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with staff scheduling and performance feedback.
• Promote positive, resident-centered unit culture.
