Job summary
NHC HealthCare Anniston is seeking a Registered Nurse Unit Manager to lead an interdisciplinary care team, assess patients, and develop, review, and revise individualized plans of care for our geriatric residents. You will supervise LPNs and other nursing staff, maintain open communication with patients and families, participate in care decisions, and ensure high-quality standards and compliance.
Alabama RN/LPN license required; 2 years geriatric experience preferred; NHC offers competitive pay
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Current Alabama Nursing (RN/LPN) license
- Preferred of 2 years of nursing experience with geriatric patients'
- Exhibits leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Working with the interdisciplinary care team, to assure accurate patient assessment and development/revision of individualized plans of care.
- Maintains open and ongoing communication with patients and families, providing opportunity and encouragement to participate in decision making.
- Supervise LPNs and other nursing partners as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
