NHC HealthCare Anniston is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead an interdisciplinary care team and coordinate individualized plans of care for geriatric patients in a full-time role in Anniston, AL.

The position requires an accredited nursing program graduate and an active Alabama RN license, with leadership aptitude and an emphasis on quality care and teamwork. Comprehensive benefits and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Alabama Nursing (RN/LPN) license.
• Preferred 2 years of nursing experience with geriatric patients.
• Exhibits leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Working with the interdisciplinary care team, to assure accurate patient assessment and development/revision of individualized plans of care.
• Maintains open and ongoing communication with patients and families, providing opportunity and encouragement to participate in decision making.
• Supervise LPNs and other nursing partners as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
