Job summary

Arbors at Minerva is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to direct the operation of a nursing unit in a long-term care facility. The role requires a nursing degree, RN licensure, and prior long-term care experience to lead staff and ensure high-quality care.

You will oversee staffing, resident care programs, physician coordination, and QA initiatives while fostering a positive, growth-focused work culture within a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program; degree preferred.
• Licensed RN (where required).
• CPR teaching certificate, if applicable.
• Three years of nursing experience, including at least one year in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Hire, discipline and evaluate nursing staff.
• Plan and lead resident care meetings and committees.
• Ensure staffing meets resident needs and budget.
• Develop and evaluate staff education and recruitment programs.
• Coordinate physician involvement and timely interventions.
• Review staffing patterns and census; reassign staff as needed.
• Monitor clinical operations to ensure quality care.
• Obtain medications, supplies, and records for safe care.
• Assist orientation of new personnel and mentor staff.
• Participate in QA program.
• Perform other assigned tasks.
