Job summary

Indian Beach Nursing and Rehab Center is seeking an RN Unit Manager to oversee nursing care on the unit. The role requires supervising CNAs, coordinating assessments, and ensuring quality care in a busy resident environment.

You will collaborate with the nursing director and therapy team, implement care plans, and maintain compliance with facility policies while promoting a collaborative, patient-focused atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Supervise delivery of care to residents on assigned Unit.
• Assess resident needs and develop care plans.
• Administer nursing care and evaluate outcomes.
• Supervise CNAs and other personnel on the unit.
• Document services rendered for billing purposes.
• Write admission notes and chart important information.
• Identify nursing problems and prioritize care needs.
• Develop and implement care plans per physician orders.
• Attend weekly meetings with therapy and nursing to optimize reimbursement.
• Perform daily rounds to monitor resident care and status.
• Ensure compliance with nursing policies and unit procedures.
• Notify residents or families of discharge plans 24 hours in advance.
