Job summary

Genesiscareers seeks a Unit Manager - RN to join our nursing center management team. You will be accountable for your assigned nursing unit to deliver high-quality, cost-efficient care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and satisfaction from patients, families, and staff.

Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure adequate nursing coverage, work with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals, mentor nurses, oversee medication management, and provide direct patient care as

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 3 years of nursing experience.
• 3 years of nursing experience with Nursing Diploma or 2 years with BSN.
• At least 1 year of nurse leadership experience.
• Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage for safe care.
• Participate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve patient goals and minimize rehospitalizations.
• Mentor and educate nurses, working with physicians and other medical professionals, as a resource on quality of services.
• Oversee medication management to ensure supplies and regulatory compliance.
• Provide direct patient care along with unit nurses to maintain clinical skills.
