Job summary
River's Edge is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead a nursing unit with clinical expertise and administrative leadership. You will ensure continuous nursing care and supervise the interdisciplinary team to achieve resident welfare and quality outcomes.
The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current NJ licensure, and at least one year of leadership experience. You will oversee staffing, protocols, and compliance while fostering a positive, patient-centered environment.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current nursing license.
- Minimum of one year in a leadership role (head nurse, supervisor, etc.).
- Ability to lead and supervise nursing staff and coordinate with interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the assigned nursing unit and manage 24/7 staffing coverage.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure safe, high-quality care.
- Develop, implement and evaluate unit protocols and standards.
- Supervise staff, provide guidance and performance feedback.
- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance with fire, health and sanitation codes.
