Riverfront Rehab in New Jersey is seeking an RN Nursing Supervisor to coordinate total resident care and supervise nursing units, with emphasis on staffing, training, and adherence to professional standards.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited nursing program degree, current licensure, and supervisory experience in long-term care. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, quick decision making in emergencies, and the ability to guide and mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current State registration.
• Experience in the nursing field.
• Supervisory experience in long term care required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies daily staffing and redistribution as needed.
• Collaborates with charge nurses to exchange resident care information.
• Makes rounds to assess residents, prioritizing critically ill cases.
• Ensures care plans are followed for each resident.
• Performs medication passes and direct resident care as needed.
• Participates in resident care committee meetings and quality programs.
• Reinforces training and orientation of nursing personnel.
