Job summary
River's Edge is seeking an RN Unit Manager to provide administrative leadership and clinical oversight for a designated unit. You will ensure continuous nursing care and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to design, implement and evaluate resident care programs.

Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum one year of leadership/management experience.
- Current NJ RN licensure required.
- APN membership recommended.
Responsibilities
- Act as manager of an assigned unit with leadership responsibility.
- Coordinate 24/7 nursing coverage with the Director of Nursing.
- Develop, implement and evaluate unit protocols and standards.
- Assess staff performance against job descriptions and goals.
- Lead disciplinary actions as needed per policies.
- Provide guidance to professional and nonprofessional staff.
- Lead unit meetings across shifts to disseminate information and set goals.
- Ensure daily staffing assignments and overtime management.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities.
- Assist in budget requests and staff recruitment.
