Sheppard Pratt in Towson, MD is seeking a Unit Manager to provide 24-hour operational management of a psychiatric inpatient unit, leading a multidisciplinary team and ensuring safe, therapeutic care.

The role requires a BSN with 2+ years inpatient psychiatric nursing experience or a diploma with 4+ years, plus an MD RN license. We offer tuition reimbursement, comprehensive benefits, a 403b match, and generous PTO.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program with at least 2 years of inpatient psychiatric nursing experience.
• Diploma nursing program with at least 4 years of inpatient psychiatric nursing experience if no bachelor's degree.
• Current RN license in Maryland.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 24-hour operational management of the unit.
• Manage expense budgets and staffing strategy to meet census targets.
• Adjust to changes in patient acuity and census to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Use clinical expertise in direct patient care, staff development and treatment planning.
• Participate in marketing activities and promote teamwork, quality improvement, and customer relations.
• Supervise nursing, rehabilitation services, and support staff.
