Sheppard Pratt opens a new General Adult Unit in Towson, MD, seeking an RN to deliver inpatient psychiatric care 36 hours weekly, 7AM–7PM with rotating weekends. In person position in a multi-disciplinary team driving evidence-based treatment for adults 18+.

Qualifications

• Must hold current RN licensure to practice in Maryland at appointment and maintain licensure.
• Experience in a psychiatric nursing setting preferred.
• Orientation/training starts immediately after first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of professional psychiatric nursing services per treatment plans.
• Administer medical treatment as prescribed by physician.
• Teach and provide psychosocial support to patients and families.
• Provide day-to-day clinical direction to Mental Health Workers or staff.
• Document and report patient progress to the treatment team.
