Job summary

Notre Dame Health Care Center, Inc. is seeking a Unit Manager, RN to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, directing and evaluating nursing care in a long-term care and skilled rehabilitation setting.

The role includes 24-hour responsibility to ensure high-quality care, oversee staff relations, and support other departments. The Unit Manager will supervise all shifts, handle staffing concerns, and communicate with the DON.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a current MA RN license.
• 3–5 years of clinical geriatrics experience.
• 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiar with state and federal guidelines and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all shift operations and address personnel relations and clinical care matters.
• Participate in on-call rotations and report staffing shortages as needed.
• Report concerns to the Director of Nursing in a timely manner.
• Ensure adherence to facility policies and regulations.
