Job summary

American Senior Communities in Winamac, IN is seeking an experienced RN to serve as Unit Manager on the long-term care unit. You will provide daily leadership to licensed nurses, oversee resident care, and ensure compliance with professional standards and regulations.

The role is a full-time day shift with opportunities for mentorship, staff development, and a path into nursing leadership within a compassionate care culture. Indiana RN license required; C.A.R.E.

Qualifications

• RN license in Indiana or ability to obtain Indiana license.
• Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence (C.A.R.E.) values guiding daily interactions.
• Experience in charge nurse or supervisory roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing care for residents on the assigned long-term care unit.
• Provide daily leadership and guidance to licensed nurses and nursing personnel.
• Ensure delivery of care complies with professional nursing standards and state/federal regulations.
• Foster team development and interdisciplinary collaboration.
