Job summary

SNF Healthcare seeks a Unit Manager to oversee nursing care on the unit in accordance with physician orders and facility policies. You will supervise RNs, LPNs and CNAs, perform rounds, and ensure timely documentation and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities include assessments, care plan revisions, medication administration, and collaboration with ADON/DON to resolve resident concerns while maintaining high-quality service and resident safety.

Qualifications

• RN degree from an accredited college or nursing school.
• Current RN licensure within the state of practice.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors facility clinical systems to facilitate quality resident care per laws, regulations and facility guidelines.
• Delivers basic nursing care to residents as per care plans ordered by a physician.
• Directs RNs, LPNs and CNAs on the unit to ensure high-quality care and services.
• Conducts ongoing assessments of residents to identify care needs and revises the care plan as conditions change.
• Assists in recruitment, orientation and supervision of nursing staff and communicates guidelines to the team.
