Job summary

Kingsway Community in Schenectady, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee resident care in our long-term care setting. You will supervise CNAs and LPNs, and collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure Department of Health compliance and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• RN with 2–5 years of LTC experience.

Requirements

• Candidate must be a Registered Nurse in good standing with 2-5 years' experience in LTC.
• Duties include, but are not limited to, managing resident care.
• Supervision of CNAs and LPNs including disciplining, interview and hiring.
• Candidate will work closely with Director of Nursing to ensure Department of Health compliance with regulations, as well as adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Basic computer knowledge, MDS proficiency and knowledge of care plan process is required.
