Job summary

650 Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking an RN Unit Manager for the Claremore Veterans Home. The role involves supervising staff and directing health services for a dedicated unit, ensuring quality patient care and adherence to standards.

Qualifications include an Oklahoma RN license (or eNLC), and supervisory nursing experience. A BSN is required with corresponding experience; a MSN with supervisory experience is also noted. Workdays are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Oklahoma RN license (or eNLC) and 3 years of professional nursing experience, 1 year in supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing with 2 years nursing experience, 1 year in supervision.
• Master’s degree with 1 year of supervisory nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct health services for a unit or facility.
• Select, mentor, motivate and direct staff; monitor quality indicators.
• Develop or implement policies to ensure efficient delivery of health services.
• Develop budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with guidelines.
