Job summary

Greenville Post Acute in Greenville, SC is seeking a compassionate and experienced Unit Manager (RN) to provide clinical leadership and oversight for a resident care unit. You will coordinate resident care, supervise nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote exceptional resident outcomes through effective communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in South Carolina.
• Experience supervising nursing staff in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Strong understanding of resident care planning and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to supervise CNAs and LPNs and coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations of an assigned resident care unit.
• Ensure residents receive quality care per physician orders and care plans.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff including CNAs and LPNs.
• Monitor resident conditions and timely follow-up on changes in status.
• Conduct rounds and address resident, family, and staff concerns.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Review and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team conferences.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Support survey readiness efforts and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy staff, families, and other departments to promote positive resident outcomes.
• Assist nursing leadership with staffing, training, and employee development initiatives.
