Job summary

HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a RN Manager for the Department of Corrections to lead patient care operations, staffing, and policy development within the unit. You will collaborate with the leadership team to ensure quality care and safe, efficient service.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license in-state (or compact), a BSN (MSN preferred), BLS/ACLS certification, and 2+ years in acute care with at least 1 year in supervisory roles; inpatient experience strongly

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in the state where you practice or hold a Compact/Multi-State RN license.
• Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS from AHA or ARC required.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in an acute care setting; 1+ years of supervisory/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, staff and direct unit operations.
• Develop plans, policies and procedures with leadership to ensure quality care.
• Guide and support staff to ensure safe, effective patient care.
