Job summary

HCA Florida Memorial Hospital is seeking an RN Manager for the Med Surg Neuro Stroke Unit in Jacksonville. The role plans, organizes, staffs, and directs unit operations to ensure efficient, quality patient care while partnering with leadership to develop policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a registered nurse license, a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), BLS/ACLS, and 2+ years in acute care with 1+ year of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice or must hold Compact/Multi-State RN License.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• A current BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association (AHA or American Red Cross) are required.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in an acute care setting required; 1+ years of supervisory/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, staff and direct functions to ensure the effective operation of the unit.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop plans, policies, and procedures for quality care.
• Support a collaborative team environment focused on patient care and safety.
• Lead the nursing team to maintain staffing, workflows, and regulatory compliance.
