Job summary

The Mariemont Care Center in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Full-Time RN Unit Manager to oversee clinical operations on a nursing unit and lead a dedicated team of nurses.

This role requires an active Ohio RN license and prior leadership in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting. Day shift with occasional weekends; provides opportunities for staff development and quality improvement collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Previous leadership, charge nurse, or unit management experience strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations preferred.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and hold staff accountable.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day nursing operations for the assigned unit.
• Supervise, support, and mentor nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Monitor clinical documentation, care plans, and quality measures.
• Collaborate with DON, ADON, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support infection control practices and quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and staff education as needed.
