The Townhouse Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Uniondale, NY is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead our nursing team and ensure high-quality resident care.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, clinical expertise, and excellent communication skills, with at least 2 years in a Skilled Nursing Facility and NY RN licensure. This full-time role offers a collaborative, fast-paced environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in NY (required).
• Minimum 2 years in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Prior RN management or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily nursing unit operations with focus on high-quality, person-centered care.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate CNAs, LPNs, and RNs; conduct performance and competency assessments.
• Address clinical and administrative challenges to maintain smooth operations.
• Provide clinical oversight in medical, behavioral, and crisis management situations.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team to meet individualized resident care goals.
• Partner with Director of Nursing to align unit objectives with facility goals.
• Communicate progress and updates with families and physicians.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments and contribute to care planning and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with policies and state/federal regulations.
• Promote a positive, supportive environment for staff, residents, and families.

Shift: Full Time | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Townhouse Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated RN Unit Manager to lead our nursing team and ensure the delivery of exceptional resident care. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily nursing unit operations, ensuring high-quality and person-centered care.

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate CNAs, LPNs, and RNs, including conducting performance and competency assessments.

• Address clinical and administrative challenges to maintain smooth and efficient operations.

• Provide expert clinical oversight in medical, behavioral, and crisis management situations.

• Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to develop and achieve individualized resident care goals.

• Partner with the Director of Nursing to align unit objectives with overall facility goals.

• Communicate regularly with families and physicians regarding resident progress and updates.

• Conduct thorough resident assessments and contribute to care planning and implementation.

• Ensure compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations.

• Promote a positive, supportive environment for staff, residents, and families.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York (required).

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).

• Prior leadership or RN management experience strongly preferred.

• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Sigma experience preferred.
