Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rochelle Park, NJ, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to oversee daily clinical operations and guide nursing staff. This role requires leadership in a fast-paced long-term care setting and active engagement with residents and families.

The RN Unit Manager will ensure care plans are followed, coordinate with physicians, and maintain high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Active NJ RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Long-term care/skilled nursing experience required.
• Unit Manager or nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote quality care and professional growth
• Ensure residents receive care in accordance with individualized care plans
• Perform resident rounds, assessments, and monitor changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care
• Lead and participate in care plan meetings
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations
• Support quality assurance initiatives and survey preparedness
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and resident-focused culture
