Job summary

Excelsior Care Group in Hudson County, New Jersey, is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead our nursing team on the day shift, ensuring high-quality resident care and strict regulatory compliance.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with the Director of Nursing, conduct rounds, and drive performance improvements while maintaining a compassionate, team-oriented environment. NJ RN license and long-term care experience are required; PointClickCare knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey.
• Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings.
• Knowledge of PointClickCare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing with day-to-day operations of the Nursing Department.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and nursing standards.
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure adherence to job responsibilities.
• Participate in facility surveys and inspections by authorized agencies.
• Conduct daily rounds to monitor staff performance and patient care quality.
• Address staff concerns and grievances, escalating as appropriate to the Director of Nursing Services.
