Job summary

Whites Creek Wellness & Rehabilitation Center in Whites Creek, TN is seeking a compassionate RN Unit Manager to oversee nursing care and lead the care team. This full-time role involves delegating shift tasks, supervising nurse aides, and monitoring residents.

You will collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to update care plans and ensure confidentiality of health information. Other duties may be assigned by the Director of Nursing or Administrator.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN license for the state of Tennessee.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage the nursing care for all residents and delegate shift tasks to nurses.
• Supervise nurse aides as they complete their assignments.
• Observe residents’ conditions, oversee, and respond as necessary.
• Communicate with patients, family members, and the interdisciplinary team about care plan changes.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
• Perform other assigned duties as directed by the Director of Nursing or Administrator.

RN Unit Manager Position Summary
