Job summary

Complete Care at Meriden is seeking an RN Unit Manager (Registered Nurse) to oversee nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting, with day shift and full benefits.

The ideal candidate has CT nursing license, leadership experience, and is able to develop and update care plans, conduct assessments, and coordinate with families and the interdisciplinary team. Opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Licensed to work within the State of Connecticut as an RN.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, professional references check & physical evaluation
• High level understanding of leadership, customer service and clinical competency
• Leadership experience in a long-term care setting

Responsibilities

• Care Needs & Planning: Assist to develop, implement and continually update individual care plans, supplement hands on care needs
• Assessments: Complete admission, discharge and other assessments as needed
• Triage & Interventions: Assist to handle acute health changes, physicians' orders and collaboration with care providers & families
• Regulatory Standards: Ensure compliance with federal, state, county & company health/safety regulations
• Quality Assurance: Audit documentation & care for quality control/compliance
• Family & Team Liaison: Communicates changes in resident conditions to families/providers, works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
• Team Oversight & Mentorship: Provide ongoing training, orientation & performance evaluations for staff. Manage staffing schedules and assignments
