Job summary

Complete Care at Meriden in Meriden, CT is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct care for residents transitioning from hospital to therapy or long-term care. This full/part-time role includes PRN options, with daily pay and the option to increase earnings by a +$2/hr bonus or benefits package.

You will administer medications, perform wound care, monitor health status, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers and families to plan and execute individualized care.

Qualifications

• Licensed to work in CT as an LPN.
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, references check & physical.
• Professional and clinically skilled with leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications: oral, topical, IV, injectable.
• Wound care and prevention; manage pain; apply dressings.
• Monitor health status and analyze data.
• Provide catheter/ostomy care and collect specimens.
• Assist in executing individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers and others.
• Educate residents and families about health status and care.
• Maintain detailed documentation of health status, care, progress and interactions.
• Oversee and delegate CNAs to ensure quality care and teamwork.

Here’s What You’ll Do for Our Residents:
