Qualifications include RI RN license, BLS CPR, 5+ years of nursing experience, and 2+ years in a supervisory role within a nursing facility or similar setting. Full-time, part-time, and PRN positions available with daily pay benefits.

Qualifications

• Current RI RN license (unencumbered) is required.
• BLS CPR certification is required.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college/university is preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years of nursing experience.
• Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing facility or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing operations on the assigned unit and ensure resident-centered care.
• Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff on the unit.
• Ensure accurate incident reporting and follow-up with Administration and DON.
• Participate in committees and programs as directed by the DON.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate policies/procedures based on clinical needs.
• Monitor care plans for compliance with regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident outcomes.

Responsibilities for an RN Unit Manager:

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting, with appropriate follow-up and communication to the Administrator and the Director of Nursing.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures based on identified clinical and operational needs.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications for and RN Unit Manager:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of RI.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• A nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or other healthcare setting required.
