Job summary

Morgan Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an RN Supervisor for a part-time weekend position. You will provide clinical leadership to nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee daily nursing operations to promote optimal resident outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold an RI or multi-state RN license, BLS CPR certification, and have at least 2 years of nursing experience. Training will be provided for those without supervisory background; strong communication skills are

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in RI or a multi-state license.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.
