Job summary

University City Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Unit Manager to lead nursing operations on an assigned unit and ensure high-quality, resident-centered care. This full-time role is supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services and offers a competitive all-inclusive salary.

You will oversee clinical staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive continuous improvement and positive resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active PA RN license required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or other healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting, with appropriate follow-up and communication to the Administrator and the Director of Nursing.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures based on identified clinical and operational needs.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care and continuous improvement.
