Job summary

Complete Care - Connecticut in Colchester, CT is seeking a Registered Nurse Unit Manager for a full-time day shift with comprehensive benefits and a negotiable salary based on experience. An on-call rotation is required, and there are opportunities for advancement within the facility.

We provide skilled nursing care to patients recently discharged from hospital needing therapy and to long-term residents. You will lead care planning, assessments, triage, regulatory compliance, quality assurance,

Qualifications

• Prior long term care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Care Needs & Planning: Assist to develop, implement and continually update individual care plans, supplement hands on care needs
• Assessments: Complete admission, discharge and other assessments as needed
• Triage & Interventions: Assist to handle acute health changes, physicians' orders and collaboration with care providers & families
• Regulatory Standards: Ensure compliance with federal, state, county & company health/safety regulations
• Quality Assurance: Audit documentation & care for quality control/compliance
• Family & Team Liaison: Communicates changes in resident conditions to families/providers, works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
• Team Oversight & Mentorship: Provide ongoing training, orientation & performance evaluations for staff. Manage staffing schedules and assignments
