Job summary

Complete Care at Harrington Court is hiring an RN Unit Manager (Registered Nurse) for a full-time, day shift with full benefits. Pay negotiable based on experience. On-call rotation required and prior long-term care experience is a must.

Qualifications

• Must have RN license in good standing and be eligible to work in CT.
• Experience in long-term care is required.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities are essential.
• Ability to develop and update individualized care plans.

Responsibilities

• Care Needs & Planning: develop, implement and update care plans; supplement hands-on care.
• Assessments: conduct admission, discharge and other required assessments.
• Triage & Interventions: respond to acute health changes and follow physician orders.
• Regulatory Standards: ensure compliance with health regulations and company policies.
• Quality Assurance: audit documentation and care for quality and compliance.
• Family & Team Liaison: communicate changes to families and coordinate with the team.
• Team Oversight & Mentorship: train staff, orient new hires and manage schedules.

Here’s What You’ll Do for Our Residents & Facility:

Care Needs & Planning: Assist to develop, implement and continually update individual care plans, supplement hands on care needs

Assessments: Complete admission, discharge and other assessments as needed

Triage & Interventions: Assist to handle acute health changes, physicians' orders and collaboration with care providers & families

Regulatory Standards: Ensure compliance with federal, state, county & company health/safety regulations

Quality Assurance: Audit documentation & care for quality control/compliance

Family & Team Liaison: Communicates changes in resident conditions to families/providers, works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team

Team Oversight & Mentorship: Provide ongoing training, orientation & performance evaluations for staff. Manage staffing schedules and assignments
