Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in state of employment.

• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• Strong computer literacy and familiarity with hospital information systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing leadership on the shift for adult or geriatric patients 18+.
• Delegate tasks to staff and monitor completion.
• Conduct rounds, respond to emergencies, and communicate with physicians.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely shift reports.
• Maintain unit readiness, safety and adherence to policies.
