Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 3 years as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
• Effective Communication- understanding and applying effective communication concepts with patients and families.
• Patient-and Family-Centered Practice- collaborating with patients, families, and care partners.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a resource, role model, and clinical leader for the patient care team.
• Evaluates patient needs and makes care recommendations.
• Monitors staff schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
• Reporting to the Nurse Manager.
• Maintains timely schedules and payroll collaboration with Nurse Manager.
• Supports nursing professional development and Magnet/Shared Governance initiatives.
