Job summary

Responsibilities include supporting professional development, participating in Magnet and Shared Governance, and mentoring colleagues on clinical ladders. Must hold RN licensure and have acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• 3 years as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting is required.
• Must communicate effectively and partner with patients and families.
• Knowledge of care coordination, patient safety, and discharge planning is essential.
• Familiarity with health information documentation and interprofessional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as resource, role model, and clinical leader for the patient care team.
• Evaluate patient needs and make care recommendations based on those needs.
• Monitor staff schedules to ensure adequate staffing for patient care.
• Collaborate with Nurse Manager and interprofessional teams to ensure quality care.
• Support nursing development, magnet, and shared governance programs.
