Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA is hiring an RN Unit Coordinator for a full-time night shift in our IMCU. The 30-bed unit handles telemetry, stroke care, and post‑procedural neuro cases with a 1:5 nurse‑to‑patient ratio and strong leadership support.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN (MSN preferred), RN licensure, BLS within 90 days, and have 18+ months of acute care RN experience; stroke telemetry or IMCU/ICU experience and prior charge nurse experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required or MSN preferred.
• Registered Nursing License required (RN).
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• 18+ months of acute care RN experience required.
• Stroke tele area experience preferred; IMCU/ICU experience preferred.
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership for the department.
• Lead safety and quality initiatives and improve workflow.
• Support staff development and promote excellent customer service.
